1-5 Great Scotland Yard
Castle Hill Fire Protection were commissioned by Galliard Homes to deliver an estimated £65,000 fire protection package for Great Scotland Yard in Whitehall, London. Great Scotland Yard became the original headquarters for the Metropolitan Police Service in 1829, and the site from which they investigated the ‘Jack the Ripper’ case. It is now being converted into a lavish 5-star hotel. This outstanding hotel will consist of 235 rooms, a lounge, cocktail bar, library, conference room and ball room.
The scope of work includes:
- Intumescent painting to the structural steelwork
- Firestopping to service penetration on firewalls
- Air sealing to perimeter meter walls
