Portsoken Street
At 230,000 sq.ft, One Portsoken Street is an ambitious upgrade and refit project of the existing property that will bring it up to current design standards all while releasing another 40,000 sq.ft of floor space through interior re-optimisation. Castle Hill were contacted by Oktra to provide a £1.6 million Fire Stopping Package with works to begin in February 2020 and due to continue until February 2021, and once completed, Oktra's vision will be an impressively unique property.
Our scope of work included:
- Grit blasting of existing steelworks in preparation for spray application of intumescent paint.
- 20,000 sq.m of steels on all 8 floors to be painted to provide 120 minutes of fire protection.
- Paint to be finished to a decorative finish.
