In December 2017, Castle Hill Fire Protection were contacted by John Young and Sons to deliver a £6,000 fire protection package to the new extension to the Writers’ Centre, which is based in Dragon Hall on King Street in Norwich. Dragon Hall is a rare example of a medieval merchant’s trading complex, built in about 1430 by a merchant, Robert Toppes. Its centrepiece, the first floor trading hall, is 26 metres long and used more than 500 large oak timbers.
