Galliard Construction contracted Castle Hill Fire Protection to provide a Fire Stopping Package for Islington Square, a new vibrant destination in the heart of historic North London. From the Edwardian Royal Mail sorting office to the contrasting contemporary developments, Islington Square will provide one, two and three bedroom apartments as well as prestigious penthouse suites in one of London’s most sought after locations.
Our scope of work included:
- Intumescent paint to existing and new steels to provide 60 to 90 minutes of protection.
- Fire Stopping to compartment walls and floors.
- Decorations to base soffits.
- Application of intumescent mastic to heads of walls and movement joints.
Contract duration: 39 months
